Oak Ridge Mobile Home Park is in the Historic town of Staples Minnesota. Located in Todd County. Staples developed around a sawmill. The settlement was originally called Staples Mill, and named for Samuel and Isaac Staples, businessmen in the lumber industry.
US Route 10 and Minnesota State Highway 210 are two of the main routes in the city. There is a train station served by Amtrak's daily Empire Builder service, which has routes connecting Chicago, IL with Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR.
The larger employers in the area are Lakewood Health Systems, National Joint Power Alliance, Central Lakes College-Staples Campus and Stern Rubber.
The area around Staples offers recreational opportunities galore. (biking, fishing, boating, water skiing, snowmobile riding, ice fishing, sledding, etc.) You will always find something fun to do in the area!
The city of Staples is has a small town feel, yet the community is active and growing. The schools are top notch and students have a wide variety of successful academic and extra curricular activities to choose from.
Electric is provided by the City of Staples. Gas services are provided by Minnesota Energy. The park bills water and sewer service directly to the residents.
Lot rent includes garbage and snow plowing services in the winter months.
The Community is pet friendly, extra fees apply. Rental application and background check fees total $35 per adult applicant.
We do have some rental homes available, including some furnished units. We place rental residents on a rent credit program to help you towards home ownership. Ask for details.
